I like this game, but unfortunately after I ordered it at what I thought was a good price, I found it for almost $15.00 cheaper somewhere else. Oh well…

You can’t pick your Mi and save your progress. I have always been a pretty good dancer and I was doing horrible! My son who stood next to me did not even dance, just moved the remote and did better than me! Not impressed at all

I would recommend this as a party game. When my wife and I played it together it got kind of boring. Add some friends and adult beverages and you will have a blast. Didnt respond as well as I thought it would to the movement, I was getting an X ( Ratings are : Great, OK and X)when I performed the move to a T.
Needless to say, it is on eBay as we speak.

I would have given it one star, but I can admit that there is a group of people that will enjoy the “casual” experience that is Just Dance.
First of all, the actual gameplay is just dancing along to VIDEO CLIPS. Just buy a dance DVD, it’s the same thing only somehow MORE interactive than this game.
The setlist is a lot of 80s songs, or girl-friendly songs.
The scoring seems very buggy. You can be doing an exact copy of what the dancer is doing and get scored poorly and you can do the complete opposite and not get deducted points, it honestly just seems like it decides at random weather or not to give you points.
The scores don’t even do anything. You don’t earn anything or unlock anything…it’s literally just a high score and nothing more than the number.
I would think that anybody who actually played this game a couple times through would get bored with it, as the moves are very simple and they never change, no difficulty setting either. You just memorize the 3 or 4 dance moves that are looped over and over and then you could do it without even needing video clips to help you.
A lot of the moves don’t work well with the length of cable between the Wii Remote and nunchuck attachment. Many moves call for you to strech your arms to complete opposite sides which you simply can’t do without pulling the two controllers apart and potentially damaging your controllers.
Casual gamers, knock yourself out! This game should be $20 max!

I purchased this game after playing with my Wii Fit, which is a blast. My family (adults in 40s and teenagers from 16 to 21). We are very active and we bought LETS DANCE after friends of ours recommeded it. We played for a few hours but stopped after the frustration of the poor and inaccurate scoring by the game…It does not read your movements well. You also need to dance to the songs many times before you know the moves as the picture at the bottom does not give good direction. The songs are average and a bit outdated (they could have picked more recent songs with the huge selection that is out there and only about 30 songs). This is what it comes down to…Might be a great PARTY GAME after a few drinks, poor scoring by the system and poor direction on movements.
