Well right now I can currently give i a review for this game, seeing as how I ordered it on Feb 11 and it is now March 17 and I still have not received my game. So when I do receive this game maybe then I can tell you how good or bad it is.

I got beyond that and it turned out to be one of the best game experiences I’ve ever had.

I can’t see how to change from my original 1 star review to 5 stars.

I didn’t get how to do combat (as the wolf) at first.

    Earlier review:

They took the coolest game ever and they make you stop playing and force you to play THE WORST GAME EVER to be able to get back to the cool game! I swear they must have had a deadline on the Wii Zelda so they pulled some abandoned stupid ‘magic imp / wolf’ game, sitting on the shelf and interleaved it to extend the playing time of Zelda. Tell me you haven’t thought that!

I won’t go back and play it. Awful. “Tee hee hee, jump here, tee hee hee.” Gawd! Oh for a shotgun from Quake. No, wait, I’m a wolf I can’t hold it, I can only bite and sniff… oh and dig, so I’ll just dig my own grave here, somebody shoot me and get me out of this miserable stupid game!

I guess this type of game just isn’t for me. If you like reading and not a lot of action then this game is for you. The only thing I did like was the way the Wii controller was integrated into the game. I hope more Wii games use the control in this way.

if you’re not the adventure type, don’t buy this game. I am a new gamer, and was expecting some fun sword-playing and fishing as the other reviewers mentioned. I also like little puzzles. The game is NOT like that. I herded sheep, and then jumped over a fence for about another hour. I personally don’t mind these little tasks-I expected them in fact-but the controller! what a bad use of the “wii system”!!! You end up using the nunchuck and it gets pretty frustrating trying to get him just to move forward. ARGH.

Not really sure what to say about this game… it’s one of the most boring games I have ever played in my life, with no clear sense of direction or what you’re supposed to do. You start up the game, and you walk around, and there’s absolutely no indication of what you should do. You talk to a few people, you get on a horse, and then you just go around and explore things. Not much to explore, either. They give you some vague task like “close up the ranch”, with absolutely no indication of how to do that. After about 2 hours of walking around and accomplishing absolutely nothing, I looked up some online hints for this game, and I could see why I couldn’t figure anything out. It’s because there’s no LOGIC associated with any of the tasks in this game. You would never be able to figure out these things on your own, without somebody guiding you through them. [...]. If you have a TREMENDOUS amount of time on your hands and like reading online hint booklets, maybe this game is for you. Instead, I would recommend saving your money and purchasing an outstanding adventure game like Zack & Wiki instead.
